Why do I get intrusion warnings?

Problem:
In VMware or other OS, you get warnings of the mainboard and / or the IPMI console of the server from the intrusion detection switch.

Background:
The servers we use all work with disconnected intrusion switches. This means that the intrusion contact of the mainboard is always "open" switched. If your software or operating system evaluates this switch, you will receive corresponding error messages in the logfile.

Solution / Workaround:

The warning is not an error or a problem. If your software or operating system has a configuration option for switching off or ignoring the warning, set it so that the warnings are ignored in the future.
